Why is it wrong for me to hang out with guys? And what's wrong with dating a guy if I liked him?
I am 14 years old, and my parents are from India. I was born in USA. Yet, I have to grow up as an Indian, thanks to my parents not understanding that we are not in India anymore. They put up rules like no dating, no talking to boys, no chatting to boys, no going out late etc.
What can I do?

I know what you mean. I had an Indian friend in H.S..her mother was just too weird ..she didnt even let her talk to her guy cousin.
Im pretty sure your parents dont want you to talk to guys because they just dont want you to mess up in life. I know u like him but just chill dont be too deseperate. My first bf was when i was 18. I waited for the right one. My Advice is dont get into HS puppy love relationships..believe me theyre not worth it .Its a waste of time. Your main goal is to graduate if your still in HS... and again i understand i remember liking someone in HS but i just had a mature mentality and kept telling myself "no hes not the one". sry if im sounding like your mom.
