Is dating a divorced man with 2 children difficult?
I'm 26 and recently started dating a 34 year old man. He is divorced and has 2 boys. (Divorced 3 years ago) However, his ex-wife and two boys live in Europe so they are not around. I know he missed his boys and he gets depressed from time to time because he wants to see them.
I really like him and I know he likes me. I'm not sure if I should pursue this relationship because I know he has a lot of baggage. Anybody else in a similar situation. I would like to know how you deal with this.

You're right, it's a lot of 'baggage' or emotional and practical responsibility for someone of your age to take on. It sounds as if he has too many unresolved feelings and issues to do you justice. You may end up unfairly and unhappily being his emotional caretaker and crutch instead of enjoying a healthy, equitable relationship. I strongly suspect he's more 'traditional' in his values, which means you are not likely to be seen or treated as an equal partner on many levels. Don't throw your best years away on a situation that is not likely to last. But you sound mature and aware, so give it a try if you really love him, and best of luck!
